DVD/video production company, Vincent
Productions, is proud to announce the creation of a series
of high quality performance DVD’s filmed live in HD
from the world renown
Ground Zero Blues Club located in Clarksdale,
Mississippi.
The club, which is owned by Academy Award Winning actor,
Morgan Freeman, Bill Luckett
and Howard Stovall, derives its name from
the rich local musical heritage described by many as “Ground
Zero” for the blues aficionados from around the globe.
GOAL/MISSION STATEMENT: To capture, live
performances of music artists for release worldwide.
High-profile recording artists, from all genres of music,
will be encouraged to select a legendary and/or up-and-
coming blues performer to share the spotlight. The programs
honor the artists that have laid the musical foundation that
has shaped today’s music, and will change the direction of
music in the future.

Each “produced for television”
program contains 44-minutes of live music and candid
conversations with the featured artists, all recorded from
the celebrated Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale,
Mississippi, the “Crossroads” of Blues Music. The DVD’s also
include an additional 22-minutes of behind the scenes, show
and artist background footage.
The first DVD features
George Thorogood and the Destroyers (“Bad To
The Bone”) with
Eddie Shaw (sax player and arranger for
legendary Muddy Waters and Howlin’
Wolf).
